Logo Explanation I found this perfect mushroom right about here, while on a day hike, near the town where I grew up, in Colchester, CT.

This area of CT has numerous ruins where small rivers were diverted to generate power for watermills.

The CT landscape was shaped by the glaciers of the last ice age. The state is covered by loose stones, called fieldstones. Before using the land for farming, the stones had to be cleared, hence the state is checkered with rock walls. These stones were also used in foundations and chimneys, and are still found in older homes and in ruins in the forests. Some of the stones are very large. Some were used to dam the rivers for these mills.

If you're a hiker, you'll appreciate CT.
